System Architecture

SFU (Shelf Facing Unit)

Customer engagement through tailored product information

The SFU is a high bright, full color LED display specifically designed for retail shelving to withstand impact of objects such as shopping carts. This display utilizes long life LEDs, similar to stadium scoreboards, encased in a patented enclosure. Powered by 5VDC, the SFUs are daisy chained to create compelling displays on shelf faces, on End Caps, in Aisle, wall mounted shelving, cabinets, coolers, etc.

Sensors and Data Collection Engines

Utilizing standard USB cameras, controlled by proprietary cloverleaf software, the camera is able to capture customer engagement and record demographic information to provide Retailers, CPGs, and others with valuable real-time data at the point of purchase. Rear facing cameras are utilized to capture pending out-of-stock conditions and alert store personnel.

Combining proprietary cloverleaf LCS, DCU, and LCS applications onto Intel based PC hardware and Microsoft OS, the CCU is designed for ease of deployment in standalone applications such as single End Caps and Coolers.

In Store Content Management and Data Collection

Based on standard Intel based PC hardware, Microsoft OS, and proprietary cloverleaf software, the local content server acts as the gateway between all store located cloverleaf controllers and the cloverleaf cloud. The LCS provides redundancy and reliability in the event the internet access is disabled for any reason.

Dynamic Content Control and Data Collection

Based on standard Intel based PC hardware, Microsoft OS, and proprietary cloverleaf software, the DCU controls all of the content displayed on the SFU. The DCU acts as the intermediary between the LCS and the appropriate SFU sending content changes, including pricing, to the SFU, and captures meta data to send to the LCS.

Camera Management

Based on standard Intel based PC hardware, Microsoft OS, and proprietary cloverleaf software, the SCU controls all external sensors such as cameras. Utilizing proprietary algorithms and cloverleaf software, the SCU transforms images into content triggers and meta data to be passed along to the DCU.
